Online Photoshop II for Photographers training course - $49.00

Science & Art has developed and taught programs for SAIT, ABES, CTC, and the Calgary Science Centre. We also offer customized training in our studio for individuals and small groups.

Training in our studio provides students with the best equipment and latest software, free parking, fast powerful computers with 19-24 inch monitors, scanners, and high speed Internet connections. We offer flexible schedules so you learn at your own pace and when it is convenient for you. Anyone over the age over 16 is welcome (students under 19 require parents consent). Private training is available during the day, weekends and some evenings. You are welcome to make an appointment to talk with us about what you would like to be trained in and\or to view our training facilities.

Robert Berdan has been teaching Con Ed courses at SAIT for 15 years where he developed and teaches: HTML, Photoshop, Flash, Advanced Flash, CSS, Dreamweaver, Advanced Photoshop, Javascript and PHP - please visit the links on the top or right side of the page to see course outlines and resources. Robert is also an adjunct faculty member in the Dept. Cell Biology, University of Calgary with over 30 years teaching experience. Robert's student evaluations at SAIT average between 90-95% student satisfaction.

TRAINING COSTS

• HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Javascript, Flash, Flash Catalyst - training by the hour $60\hr in our studio.
  
  
• 15 hr course - $499 + GST paid in advance ($33\hr - 50% savings over our hourly rates) one-on-one training in our studio courses include: HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Flash and Photoshop. I offer total flexibility in terms of time and dates and if you must miss a session we simply postpone it to another day so you miss nothing. I can help you build your web site while you train so you can modify and maintain it. Additional persons training at the same time are half price i.e. 2 for $799 + GST Group rate 4 -5 cost $399 each (5th person is free).
  
  
• Photography training rates are $60\hr in the studio or the field - I can provide transportation to scenic locations in Southern AB as part of your training. If you purchased a new camera and want instruction or simply want to improve I would be happy to show you how to take better photographs. An additional person attending training at the same time can be included for i.e. $90\hr total for 2 persons.
  
  

• On site Instruction in Calgary at your location is $80\hour minimum of 4 hours.

All training is currently done on PC's. Note software is essentially the same on PC or Mac. Clients are welcome to bring their own laptops if they prefer.
